We created a custom configurator for the vypinac.cz website so that the customer can easily imagine the real appearance of the product and can order it immediately from partner e-shops.

Schneider Electric is a leader in the sale of electrical installation materials. It operates in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. All partner e-shops that offer the company's products are aggregated using the vypinac.cz website.

OUR SOLUTION

Although the older version offered to try different color combinations, it was not possible to find out which products needed to be purchased for the desired look. The client wanted to achieve that his customers have the opportunity to better visualize the product and then simply buy all the necessary parts in one place. This created a configurator, which brought a simple and clear configuration of all visual elements of the products offered, including the possibility of uploading your own background on which the switch will be located. Our customer gained a competitive advantage in the form of better visualization and an idea of the real appearance of the product. At the same time, the configurator can be easily implemented directly on partner e-shops using the IFrame.

WHAT TOOLS HAVE WE USED IN DEVELOPMENT?

  • For the back-end part, we used the open source system CMS Strapi
  • For the front-end followed by Javascript, specifically Gatsby JS
  We designed the configurator in a way that the solution can also be provided to other wholesalers who would be interested in digitizing their product range and presenting it to their customers much more clearly. We are ready to implement a similar solution for other companies and their websites
