Client
Škoda Auto’s FIO department asked us to create a distinct visual style for internal communication across its IT teams: clear, memorable and consistent with the carmaker’s official corporate identity.
The brief covered graphic identity, communication strategy and specific formats, from articles and banners to infographics, screensavers and onboarding materials.
With so many changes in IT – such as new software, Copilot deployment and internal AI tools – the aim was to create a communication layer that would be easily recognisable and memorable across the company.
A physical mascot, Robot 2.0, became one of the key elements of this new communication.
Solution
Together with the client, we designed a separate identity for FI team communication within Škoda Auto. The style builds on the official corporate identity while being more accessible, visually distinct and responsive to rapid changes and diverse internal channels.
We created a complete set of formats and templates enabling teams to communicate consistently and flexibly, including banners, infographics, guides, newsletters and presentation elements.
A distinctive part of this new layer is Robot 2.0, a physical mascot representing internal IT communication across the company.

Product scope
Services provided
- Design
Technologies used
- Midjourney
- Blender (3D modelling)
- Figma (digital communication templates)
- Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop (print formats, collages and editing)
- FDM 3D printing (PLA filaments)
- BOOTIQ in-house 3D print production
Project solution
Together, we designed a complete visual language for FI team communication, from typography and colours to output structures and rules for working with content.
We prepared templates and visual assets for:
- articles and newsletters
- banners and infographics
- screensavers, videos and guides
- internal AI topics, including Copilot
- onboarding materials
To give the style a face of its own, we also created Robot 2.0 – a mascot combining innovation, technology and a human touch.
Following initial AI exploration in Midjourney, designer Jaroslav Salač created the final 3D model in Blender. The robot was designed with printing capabilities, stability and functionality in mind.
Printing and assembly took place at BOOTIQ Jihlava. Robot 2.0 is now physically present at Škoda Auto a.s., helping visually connect the different parts of FI communication.
Results
The result is a distinct internal communication style that helps FI teams deliver clear, visible information across the company. The new visual layer is easily identifiable, flexible and reflects the dynamics of the technology environment.
Robot 2.0 has become its most visible element, demonstrating that design can have a physical presence beyond the screen.
