Metrostav
Brief
At the beginning of our partnership with Metrostav, we created a robust corporate website. However, the system it was built on no longer met modern requirements.
Solution
We agreed with the client to move the website to Strapi CMS, an open-source platform whose security, flexibility and scope for ongoing development had proven valuable to us. We knew it was an ideal fit for both our needs and the client’s.

Client challenges
- Modernise the website
Product scope
Services provided
- Design
- Custom digital solutions
Technologies used
- CMS Strapi
- Next.js
Project solution
A benefit of the system is that every change is immediately visible on the frontend. Published content can therefore be changed in real time.
What specific steps did we take?
- We moved the website to the new Strapi CMS.
- We wrote the new frontend in Next.js and made several small adjustments.
- Editors do not need CSS knowledge: templates are predefined, user-friendly and leave very little room for mistakes.
- We enabled content owners to be assigned responsibility for pages. Once a month, they receive an email listing their pages and must review it to confirm whether the content is current or needs updating.
- As part of the handover, we trained the client’s team to use and collaborate in the CMS.
