Advanced Jira Project Configuration

Training description

Advanced Jira Project Configuration covers administration and configuration related to advanced Jira setup, including project types and categories, issue types, workflows, screens, fields, priorities, resolutions, notifications and permissions.

Participants gain a complete overview and understanding of everything that needs to be configured when preparing a customised Jira project. The knowledge gained helps them implement complex processes in Jira.

The course covers common Jira functionality shared by Jira and Jira Service Management. Relevant Jira Service Management and Jira Software-specific features are also introduced and briefly explained.

The trainer alternates between presentation and live demonstrations in a running Jira application. Participants also receive access to a training instance where they can try the features during the course.

• The course does not cover Agile board configuration or Jira Service Management-specific elements such as request types, queues and SLA configuration. These topics are covered in other available courses.
• The training covers Jira Server, Data Center and Jira Cloud.

Target audience

Jira administrators or users with Jira administrator permissions who need to set up and configure projects, issue types, workflows, screens, fields, permissions and notifications.

Participants are expected to know Jira at least at an end-user level.
